Board of Directors

The OPTIMUS Board of Directors provides guidance for the overall management of OPTIMUS.

With their diverse backgrounds in marketing, law, finance, and management, the board members work together as a cohesive group to supply a big picture view of the Company’s business direction, along with determining day-to-day guidelines and procedures.

Roland Straub - President and Chairman of the Board
Roland Straub is an international attorney and investor.  A long time member of the cantonal Bar of Zug, Switzerland Mr. Straub has been practicing international, corporate and tax law for over 15 years. Roland Straub holds a JD from the University of Zürich, Switzerland and a Master degree (LL.M) in international tax law from Emory University, Atlanta, GA.

In 1989 Mr. Straub became an investor and active board member of OPTIMUS Corporation, and was elected as Chairman of the Board in 2002. In spring 2003, he assumed executive responsibility for the firm as its President. Responsible for originating and implementing product strategy, Mr. Straub focuses the team on mobilizing, securing and adding value to existing customer infrastructures; leveraging the niche advantages of a small and agile vendor.

Early in his career as corporate lawyer, entrepreneur, writer and social practitioner, Mr. Straub recognized that advanced information technology is a key to achieving and enhancing the welfare of the Commonwealth of Nations in the 21st century.


Sudarsan Tandri
Dr. Sudarsan Tandri is a multifaceted technology leader with unique blend of business and technical acumen. His experience spans program management, enterprise architecture, solutions development, and business strategy. He is currently a Technical advisor to Optimus Corporation.

Dr. Tandri has worked for IBM and BEA Systems and has executed a teaching assignment as a professor at University of Saskatchewan. He received his PHD in Computer Science from University of Toronto. Among his many accolades is an award for excellence in teaching.

Eric Pinckert
Eric Pinckert is an independent branding and marketing consultant who develops foundational brand-building strategies, repositions companies and products, and creates comprehensive corporate marketing programs. Eric Pinckert specializes in working with the executive management of technology and financial services companies undergoing significant change.

Eric Pinckert is founder and managing director of the Brand Culture Company, a consultancy specializing in brand strategy and positioning, organizational development and brand experience.
   
Eric is an honors graduate of Harvard Law School, where he served as an editor of the Harvard Journal on Legislation. He holds A.M. and A.B degrees in English from Stanford University. He has also studied at St. Catherine’s College, Oxford, and the University of Urbino in Italy.


Laura Reed

Laura Reed is currently the marketing director at InsureMe, an online insurance marketing company. Previously she has worked as executive or consultant to companies and organizations in a marketing, sales and public relations capacity. Laura Reed served as vice president for telecommunications companies in Europe including Smarten, in Italy, Am-Beo out of Ireland and ForTel in Oslo. She held positions as vice president of marketing for Jones Cyber Solutions, a subsidiary of Jones International, as well as NetDelivery of Boulder Colorado. Laura initiated her marketing career at IBM. Previous to marketing, Laura worked in geologic exploration for Anaconda Minerals Company, and at Montana State University.

Laura Reed studied at the INSEAD at Fontainebleau, France. She has an MBA from the University of Colorado, and a B.A. from Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota.
